Diamano Coura Collage Des Cultures Africaines 2020 Coronavirus Safety and Wellness Update
The health, safety and wellness of everyone in our beloved community is always high priority for Diamano Coura West African Dance Company.
In practicing an abundance of caution, we recommend persons in the following populations strongly consider not attending Collage this year: the elderly, those with underlying chronic medical conditions, and people who have recently been outside the US to high risk areas such as China, Korea, Iran, or Northern Italy, or who are close contacts of persons who have been there. Please let us know if this involves you, and we will refund your registration fee ( or apply it to any rescheduling necessary.)
To keep you and our community strong and healthy during Collage Des Cultures Africaines 2020, we need everyone to follow these precautionary measures:
If you’re not feeling well (fever, cold, or coughing), please stay home to heal and take care of yourself
Wash hands for at least 30 seconds (sing “Happy Birthday” song) after every trip to the bathroom, cough, sneeze and before eating
Bring and use your own hand sanitizer
Minimize contact with others (including hugs and handshakes)
Cough into your arm instead of hands
Avoid touching eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands
Dispose of used tissues and wipes properly after use.
Please make sure all waste is in the trash bins and not on the floors
Stay hydrated by drinking lots of water
Diamano Coura will also take the additional precautions to reduce the risk of spreading germs:
Wear gloves when handling money and tickets at a high volume
Clean and disinfect surfaces and objects that are touched often
Immediately clean surfaces that are visibly soiled
Ensure bathrooms are stocked with plenty of anti-bacterial hand soap throughout the duration of the conference
